Lisa A. Carroll MD is a board certified dermatologist who is dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence in the practice of medical and surgical dermatology. She is known to be extremely thorough in searching for skin cancers and in determining the causes and solutions for various patient concerns. She also excels in surgical procedures, focusing most importantly on clearing the cancers but also on minimizing scarring by using a "plastics" closure (subcuticular suture) whenever possible. She enjoys the practice of cosmetic dermatology, focusing on using fillers and neuromodulators to refresh the appearance of her patients. She enjoys establishing personal relationships with her patients and helping to relieve any anxieties by ensuring all concerns are thoroughly addressed. She treats patients of all ages. She has been recognized by Main Line Today's 2018, 2019, 2020 Top Doc Issues in addition to other previous years. 

Dr. Carroll graduated from the Stanford University School of Medicine. After a preliminary internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA, she completed dermatology residency at University of Chicago Hospitals. She graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude with a degree in History with a focus on east Asian History. Dr. Carroll moved a lot as a child, including living in Japan in her teens, but mainly grew up in the Philadelphia Suburbs and now has been back home for over 15 years. In her spare time, Dr. Carroll enjoys hiking, white water kayaking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her 2 children.
