Lisa A. Carroll MD is a board-certified dermatologist who is dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence in the practice of medical and surgical dermatology. She is known to be extremely thorough in searching for skin cancers and in determining the causes and solutions for various patient concerns. She also excels in surgical procedures, focusing most importantly on clearing the cancers but also on minimizing scarring by using a "plastics" closure (subcuticular suture) whenever possible. She enjoys the practice of cosmetic dermatology, focusing on using fillers and neuromodulators to refresh the appearance of her patients. She enjoys establishing personal relationships with her patients and helping to relieve any anxieties by ensuring all concerns are thoroughly addressed. She treats patients of all ages. Dr. Carroll graduated from the Stanford University School of Medicine. After a preliminary internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA, she completed a dermatology residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude with a degree in History with a focus on East Asian History. Dr. Carroll moved a lot as a child, including living in Japan in her teens, but mainly grew up in the Philadelphia Suburbs and now has been back home for over 15 years. In her spare time, Dr. Carroll enjoys hiking, white water kayaking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her 2 children.

Ladan Straker, MD, FAAD received her dermatology training from the University of California, Los Angeles, and served as chief resident during her final year of residency. Prior to this she attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her internal medicine internship at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Ladan Straker is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American academy of dermatology. 

Dr. Straker was raised in Southern California. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley and majored in Public Health. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.

Stanton Lebouitz, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who has served the York and Hanover communities with quality dermatological care for more than 40 years. He is passionate about dermatology and connecting personally with each of his patients.

Dr Lebouitz attended Franklin and Marshall College and Hahnemann University College of Medicine. He interned at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital and completed his residency in dermatology at Geisinger Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his residency, Dr. Lebouitz served in the United States Army as the Chief of Preventative Medicine at Fort Huachauca, AZ.

Dr. Lebouitz was born in Philadelphia and raised in Marcus Hook, PA. In 1974, he and his family moved to York, PA, where he opened his first dermatology practice. He and his wife, Jane, have celebrated over 50 years of marriage and enjoy spending time with their daughter, two sons, and seven grandchildren. Outside his clinic, Dr. Lebouitz likes to spend time saltwater fishing in Florida and visiting relatives in France. He is also an avid art collector.

Board-Certified Dermatologist & Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon

Dr. Adam B. Blechman is double board-certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic surgery. He attended the University of Maryland-College Park for his undergraduate studies in which he graduated magna cum laude as a member of the Gemstone Honors Program. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia, School of Medicine. In his final year of medical school, Dr. Blechman received the Larry S. Nichter award in Plastic Surgery for his research on wound healing.

Dr. Blechman continued his training with an internship in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital, a residency in Dermatology at the University of Virginia, in which he served as chief resident and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at NYU Langone in New York City. During his time at NYU, he worked with leaders in the field of skin cancer surgery and cosmetics. As a fellow, he performed numerous Mohs surgeries, complex facial reconstructions, and cosmetic procedures. 

Dr. Blechman has published a multitude of articles in dermatology and dermatologic surgery journals. He was the recipient of the prestigious Theodore Tromovitch research award given by the American College of Mohs Surgery to one fellow annually. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Blechman enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children in his free time.

Dr. Adel Haque was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia with his parents and 5 siblings. He attended Georgia Tech on a full scholarship where he majored in Biochemistry and Chemistry and minored in chemical engineering, graduating with highest honors, the president's award and a community service recognition. After graduation, he attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where he served on the Honor Council, worked as an anesthesia technician and was recognized for being in the top 5% of his class in academics and board examination scores. He completed his internship transitional year at Gwinnett Medical Center in Atlanta and went on to complete his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. There he earned awards as the resident teacher of the year, surgery resident of the year, cosmetics resident of the year, a USF service award for outstanding community service and an award as an institutional culture champion for his dedication to improving the life of his patients, peers, and program.

Originally descending from India, he brings a sense of camaraderie into every patient encounter and treats every patient as if they were a part of his family. He is known for listening to his patients and spending lots of time getting to know them and their dermatologic conditions and also looking at them holistically. He loves treating complex medical dermatology patients from CTCL to blistering diseases, psoriasis, acne, eczema and the like. He is also an avid surgeon having done over a thousand Mohs cases in his residency. Finally, he is also skilled in cosmetics training ranging from treating benign lesions to Botox to fillers and more.

Dr. Krupnick completed her dermatologic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and her internal medicine residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY. Through her dual training, she obtained a comprehensive knowledge of medical and surgical dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has published several papers on dermatology, oncology, and women’s health and presented at both regional and national meetings.

Prior to her training, Dr. Krupnick attended Dartmouth College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa society. She then attended New York University School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and was awarded the William Osler Medal. 

Dr. Krupnick grew up in New York City, but is proud to call Philadelphia her new home. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, running, reading, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Maria Hannaway, MD, FAAD attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed her intern year in Internal Medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, N.Y and completed her dermatology residency at New York Medical College in New York, N.Y., serving as chief resident in her final year. She is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Philadelphia Dermatological Society.

Dr. Hannaway is a board-certified dermatologist and has published articles in multiple journals and presented at several national meetings in the areas of medical dermatology and dermatopathology. From 2021-2022, Dr. Hannaway worked as a medical director at Incyte Corporation, focusing on JAK inhibitor therapies for inflammatory diseases such as Atopic Dermatitis. During her training as well as during her subsequent years of clinical practice in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, she gained experience in general dermatology, complex medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology.

While at Jefferson she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society as well as Jefferson’s George McClellan Surgical Honor Society and Hobart Amory Hare Medical Honor Society. During her intern year at NYU Langone Medical Center, she was awarded the Cynthia E. Saporito M.D. Prize of the Department of Dermatology in both 2017 and 2018. Upon completion of training in 2018 she was awarded the New York Medical College Distinguished Service Award.

Prior to her life in medicine, Dr. Hannaway graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Art History, which remains one of her greatest interests. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog in her free time as well as playing tennis, running, and painting. Dr. Hannaway focuses on collaborating closely with her patients to come up with treatment plans that are achievable and efficacious. She is also fluent in Spanish and welcomes Spanish speaking patients into her practice. David L. Dunaway, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and internist. Originally from Louisiana, he graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and Doctorate of Medicine. After which, he relocated to Philadelphia in 2016 to complete a five-year combined residency under the departments of Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dunaway practices both medical and surgical dermatology, with a focus in skin cancer prevention and treatment and complex medical dermatology.

Jacob W. Charny, MD, FAAD was born in Philadelphia and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University with a BS in Anthropology and Human Biology. He earned his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Celso-Ramon Garcia Award for Outstanding Women's Health Research.

He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as the Academic Chief Resident. Prior to joining Dermatology Partners, Dr. Charny worked in private practice in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Dr. Charny enjoys working with a diverse patient population and is proud to be inclusive and personalized in his approach to patient care. He sees patients of all ages, gender identities, sexualities, and skin colors. Dr. Charny listens to his patients and focuses on improving their self-confidence and quality of life. Kate Victoria Viola, MD, MHS, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist who practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology in patients of all ages. She has a special interest in the treatment of skin cancers, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and alopecia. As a native New Yorker, she completed both her dermatology residency and a dermatopharmacology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she served as a chief resident in her final year.

Dr. Viola also received a Master of Health Science Research degree from Yale University School of Medicine while in the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program. She has published research in several academic journals, including Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and British Journal of Dermatology.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is also a member of Women's Dermatologic Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, National Eczema Association, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Women in Dermatology Advisory Board.

Dr. Viola's dermatological approach is patient centric. Nektarios I. Lountzis, MD ("Dr. Nick") is a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. Dr. Lountzis sees patients of all ages and his added expertise in laboratory pathology strengthens his ability to render diagnoses of skin conditions under the microscope and enhances the care that his patients receive.

Dr. Lountzis completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at Millersville University and went on to earn his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. Basil Patel, MD is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who sees patients of all ages. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and went on to earn his medical degree and internship in Internal Medicine at Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School. He was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society during medical school.

He completed a research fellowship in autoimmune connective tissue disease at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his dermatology residency at Stony Brook University in New York. While in residency, he trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering under internationally-renowned experts in dermoscopy to hone his skills in skin cancer detection. He subsequently completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Florida.

Ha Linh Vu, MD, PhD is a board-certified dermatologist who practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in patients of all ages. She has a special interest in the treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Farhan S. Huq is a dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic surgeon. He attended the University of Michigan College of Engineering for his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering, in which he graduated Summa Cum Laude and as a member of the national engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi. During medical school, he was accepted to the NIH summer research program working as Biomedical Research Program Scholar. He was then accepted into the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program for his clinical research at the University of Michigan Rackham Graduate School. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School where he was awarded distinctions at the top 10% of his class in research, service, and education.

Dr. Huq continued his training with an internship in general surgery, a residency in Otolaryngology, a Mohs Clinical and Research fellowship, a clinical and research fellowship at the University of Michigan in dermatology, and a residency in dermatology at Wayne State University. He performed numerous skin cancer removals, Mohs surgeries, and complex reconstructive surgeries during his residencies and fellowship. Given his extensive surgical background, during his time at Wayne State, he was heavily involved in surgical training for other residents and medical students. Dr. Daniel Shurman, a native of Pennsylvania, attended Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology training at Thomas Jefferson University both in Philadelphia. Dr. Shurman then attended a fully accredited fellowship in both Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the Dermatologic Surgery Center.

The focus of Dr. Shurman's practice is the treatment of Cutaneous Neoplasms using the Mohs Micrographic technique. Dr Shurman’s primary interest is in the area of facial reconstructive surgery, managing the repair of complex cutaneous defects.

Parth Patel, DMSc, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with a specialization in dermatology. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University. He then pursued his Doctorate of Medical Sciences at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with a focus on Healthcare Professions Education.

Patel's journey in dermatology began in New York City, where he received comprehensive training encompassing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Following his time in New York City, he relocated to Philadelphia, dedicating his skills to serving the patients of Philadelphia. Patel's expertise lies in managing a wide array of dermatological concerns impacting the skin, hair, and nails. Physician Assistant, Jessica Doyle, graduated from Pennsylvania State University earning her undergraduate degree in Nutrition. She then continued her graduate education at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA where she earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.

Cassandra Baier is a physician assistant certified by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants). She attended James Madison University graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her master’s thesis on the effects of narrowband phototherapy in combination with different nonsteroidal topicals for the treatment of vitiligo.

Prior to entering dermatology, her experiences included adult and pediatric inpatient medicine. She also enjoys continuing medical education and has been an active participant on past committees in the inpatient setting. Jessica DiJulio, a native of the Lehigh Valley, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) and is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. Jessica graduated from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University with a Master of Medical Science degree as a member of its inaugural PA class. Completing an elective rotation in dermatology, her master’s thesis focused on Dupilumab for atopic dermatitis. She was elected to the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Student Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Region and represented the 38 PA programs in Pennsylvania, DC, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.

She joined Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners, Inc. in 2020 after beginning her career at Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Dermatology Associates in Philadelphia, PA. There she was a sub-investigator on two clinical trials, co-author on journal articles submitted for peer review, and treated patients including infants and children through adults. Jessica enjoyed working with patients to create daily regimens for sun protection and optimal skin health.

She enjoys working with inflammatory skin disease patients especially atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis, acne, warts, suspicious skin lesions, and skin cancer screenings. Jessica is excited to begin serving patients in the Lehigh Valley.

She graduated from Parkland High School prior to completing her bachelor’s degree at The University of Iowa in Journalism and Communication Studies. Jessica was a five-year Academic All American and Division I field hockey player for the Hawkeyes. She returned to the Lehigh Valley, earned her Master of Arts degree in English from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and taught at Parkland and Emmaus High Schools prior to attending Temple University.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Formula 1 races and cars & coffee events with her husband Anthony, watching Iowa Hawkeye field hockey and football, trying new recipes, and running the trails in the Lehigh Valley.

Certified Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant Kate Matekovic attended Pennsylvania State University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and graduated in May 2015. She furthered her education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtaining a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree in July 2019. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed through the states of Pennsylvania and Delaware.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants (PDPA). Kate has been working in the field of dermatology since graduating in 2019. She is committed to providing high quality patient care and always puts the patient's needs first. She treats patients of all ages and enjoys all aspects of medical dermatology including educating patients on the importance of sun protection and skin care. 

Kate lives in Philadelphia, and in her free time, she enjoys exercising, shopping, traveling, reading, watching Penn State football, the beach (with adequate sun protection and sunscreen of course), and spending time with her family, friends, and her goldendoodle Barkley.

Certified Physician Assistant

Jane is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Management. After graduating from a post-baccalaureate program in pre-medicine at Columbia University, she earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Drexel University. 

Prior to transitioning to dermatology, Jane worked in family practice and internal medicine for six years. It was during this time she realized her passion for dermatology and desire to specialize. She went on to complete Schweiger Dermatology's Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Training Program, gaining extensive first hand dermatology experience.

Jane performs skin cancer screenings and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions in pediatric and adult patients. She is committed to providing high quality care by staying up to date on advances in dermatology.  It is important to Jane that patients feel comfortable and are educated on their skin care and conditions.  She works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized care plans based on their needs and preferences to achieve their clearest and healthiest skin.

Jane is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog, reading, exercising or enjoying Philly's incredible restaurants.

Skyanne is a board-certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed through the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She attended Lock Haven University, where she graduated with magna cum laude and received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and minor in Psychology. Skyanne then furthered her education at Thomas Jefferson University, where she received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and completed an elective rotation at Kane Dermatology.

Skyanne is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants (PDPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Skyanne started her career in urgent care, treating a wide array of conditions before specializing in dermatology to pursue her passion. She is committed to providing high quality patient care by staying up-to-date on advances in the field and fostering a comfortable environment to allow for open communication with her patients.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys kayaking, traveling, and spending time with her family and soon-to-be husband.

Teresina is a board certified physician assistant, licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate studies in nutrition and dietetics from West Chester University in 2019. She then received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Center City Philadelphia. 

Teresina is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is committed to continued education and remaining up to date with the latest dermatologic advancements.

She is passionate about the field of dermatology and delivering compassionate patient care. She enjoys treating a wide variety of skin conditions as well as delivering comprehensive skin cancer screenings. Teresina is committed to providing quality care and cultivating a welcoming, comfortable environment for her patients.

When she is not seeing patients, Teresina enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and her dog Penny.
